Can't think of one. There might be differences in specific context, but in general I think they mean the same. "ermahnen" would be used more often. "mahnen" might be for more spefic contexts (maybe something that has to do with "Mahnung")

mahnen 공식적으로 특수한 환경

 

there is not really a difference between them for their meaninv but for some reason I rather associate ermahnen with a child being reprimanded by a teacher and mahnen rather with like an office or something official that sends letters because of open bills
